Today, it is estimated that more than a third of business schools offer fully online programs—a number that is expected to increase.

An upcoming conference sponsored by the Graduate School of Business Administration (GBA) will examine the latest methods that business schools employ to deliver education at a distance.

During the two-day conference, business educators from around the world will discuss the latest research and pedagogical approaches to distance learning in business.

Sessions include: “Blended Learning: One Approach to Prepare Students for the Global Workplace,” presented by Mary Risner, Ed.D., associate director of Outreach and Latin American Business Environment at the University of Florida; and “Utilizing Technology Effectively to Improve Millennials’ Educational Performance,” presented jointly by Maria Aviles, Ed.D., instructor of information systems, and Jacqueline Eastman, Ph.D., associate professor of marketing, both at Georgia Southern University.
