All classes that begin before 10 a.m. are cancelled. The University otherwise remains on its normal schedule, but members of the University community should exercise caution while walking on campus, and avoid walking near or under large trees. Facilities staff will be on hand to clear snow from campus walkways and roads by opening time.

The Office of the Provost is in contact with all deans to provide instructions for students and faculty affected by the delayed opening or weather. Staff who are affected by the delayed opening or weather should check with their supervisors for direction.

The first Ram Van departs Rose Hill at 8 a.m. Tuesday, and from Lincoln Center at 9 a.m. The first Ram Van departs from Rose Hill for the Calder Center at 1 p.m. Transit time between campuses may be longer than usual.

  • University Health Services at Rose Hill will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and at Lincoln Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services will be open on its normal schedule.
  • Fordham Libraries will be open on their normal schedules.
  • The Fitness Centers at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center will be open at their normal hours.
  • Resident Dining will open at 7:30 a.m. at RH and LC; retail outlets will open as soon as possible thereafter.

The Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses will open at 10 a.m., and Fordham Westchester and the Calder Center will open at Noon on Friday, February 25, due to predicted icy travel conditions on Friday morning.

No in-person classes will be held on campus before 10 a.m., but online classes will proceed as planned. Deans and instructors may contact their students with further information about alternative arrangements for classes affected by this announcement.

The last Ram Vans will depart from Rose Hill at 11 p.m. and Lincoln Center at Midnight tonight: Ram Van service will resume from Rose Hill at 9 a.m. Friday.

Fordham Libraries will be open on their normal schedules, as will the fitness centers at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center.

Please use caution while walking on campus, and avoid walking near or under large trees.

Delayed Campus Openings | Monday, March 4 https://now.fordham.edu/campus-locations/lincoln-center/delayed-campus-openings-monday-march-4/ Sun, 03 Mar 2019 16:40:55 +0000 https://news.fordham.sitecare.pro/?p=115651 Due to anticipated severe weather overnight and icy travel conditions on Monday, March 4, the University will open campuses at the following times:

  • Lincoln Center open and operating on normal schedule;
  • Rose Hill and Westchester campuses open at 11 a.m.;
  • Calder Center open at 1 p.m.

Main dining halls at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center will open on their normal schedules, with retail locations opening as staff are available. All dining venues will be fully operational by 11 a.m.

All Fordham libraries will open on schedule, with Walsh Library and Westchester as study space only until 11 a.m., and fully open thereafter; the Law and Quinn libraries will operate on their normal schedules.

University Health Services and Counseling and Psychological Services will operate on their normal schedules at Lincoln Center and Rose Hill.

The Lombardi Field House, the Fitness Center at Rose Hill, and the Fitness Center at Lincoln Center will operate on their normal schedules.

Ram Van service will end this evening (Sunday, March 3) with the last van departing from Rose Hill at 6 p.m., and the last van departing from Lincoln Center at 7 p.m.

Ram Van service will resume on Monday with the first van departing from Rose Hill at 7 a.m., the first van departing from Lincoln Center at 8 a.m., and the first van departing from Rose Hill to the Calder Center at 1 p.m.

Public Safety shuttle vans between Rose Hill and the 4-Train and Belmont community will operate with limited service from 10 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday: anyone requiring shuttle service should call Public Safety at (718) 817-2222. We advise members of the community to avoid off-campus travel during those hours unless absolutely necessary, as the snowstorm may affect our ability to operate the vans.
