Adjustment to Undergraduate Academic Schedule | Nov. 12, 2012
As the Office of the Provost announced on Nov. 5, Fordham College at Rose Hill, Fordham College at Lincoln Center, and the Gabelli School of Business have adjusted their academic schedules in order to make up for the week of class time that was lost because of Hurricane Sandy. The State of New York requires accredited programs to maintain a certain number of contact hours each semester, and without these make-up days, our undergraduate schools would fall below the required minimums.
Classes will be held on December 11, 12, and 13 according to the following schedule:
- Tuesday, December 11: all Tuesday classes will meet as scheduled.
- Wednesday, December 12: Wednesday classes will meet as scheduled
- Thursday, December 13: in order to balance semester meeting days, this day will be treated as a Monday and all Monday classes will meet as scheduled.

Students who have three exams on one day should consult with their instructors to make alternate arrangements for one of the exams. Faculty may contact the associate dean of their respective school for assistance with the logistics of accommodating students in this situation.
