Fans not only got to cheer for the Rams’ win—they also cheered for newly inaugurated President Tetlow as she celebrated her birthday during special halftime festivities. Uniquely designed birthday hats and cupcakes were distributed to everyone, and fans came together to sing happy birthday as Tetlow was presented with a birthday cake and candles on the field. Joining her were her husband, daughter, and stepson. A family member no one expected, yet everyone ran to greet, was Tetlow’s golden retriever, Archie.

During the game, Tetlow got to chat with students and other community members. She was on hand to congratulate Aidan Thompson, a Fordham student and recipient of Dr. Pepper’s Tuition Giveaway, who was awarded $5,000 after throwing the most successful passes at a friendly meet during halftime.

This year, Padmore brought her home tradition to the Fordham community. She collaborated with Campus Ministry volunteers and the NYC Veterans administration to assemble 30 breakfast baskets with non-perishable items. The baskets were dropped off at the American Legion center located in Co-op City, which will then be picked up by those veterans in need.
